Caroline Ulbricht
From behind the scenes and out of the public eye, Caroline Ulbricht was a driving force in the years-long effort that led to her husband Ross Ulbricht’s release from prison on January 21, 2025, thanks to President Donald Trump.
Working alongside Ross’s mom, Lyn, Caroline Ulbricht wore many hats for the FreeRoss campaign, devoting endless time and energy over the years. She hopes to someday help others facing similar challenges and share insights on how to best navigate the long, arduous process of securing clemency for a loved one.
Below are a few of the strategic endeavors Caroline led starting in 2017 after Ross’s appeal was denied:
→ Raising awareness and educating the public by rebuilding and expanding FreeRoss.org
→ Humanizing Ross by launching his Twitter/X account and relaying his messages to the world
→ Building support by creating compelling materials for behind-the-scenes advocacy and networking
→ Putting together extensive clemency packages for the White House and the Office of the Pardon Attorney
→ Reshaping the narrative by fact-checking/correcting inaccuracies found on social media and in the media
→ Designing and running online clemency ads seen by millions
At this time, Caroline Ulbricht is not accepting media requests.
